Alternative Medical Uses for Botox

Nearly 20 percent of the public suffers from urinary incontinence. The largest group in that statistic is women over the age of 40. Urinary incontinence includes frequency, the urge to get up throughout the night known as nocturia, and accidents. A recent study published in semi permanent makeup the European Urology journal claimed that injections of botulinum toxin A, otherwise known as Botox into the bladder is a proven method to effectively treating the urinary condition. Patients treated with Botox throughout the study saw a dramatic decline of as many as six symptoms a day decreases to less than once daily.
